He who hesitates is frozen… but all is not lost! I’m here. Home is where the boat is. And that’s Maciel Marine in Vineyard Haven. Had a fun (in the loosest sense of the word) trip over yesterday from Oak Bluffs. It’s only about 5 miles or so. It was a cold December morning, about 25ยบ, and the wind was blowing NW 15-20kts. Not the ideal day, but I had a bridge opening to catch. I figured if I kept the kero heater fired up, I’d be able to duck down to the cabin and warm up on occasion.

Which is pretty darn handy !

Ok … so I’m not so envious of you this particular trip … although the sunshine at least made the video look palatable! Brrr.
